2017 Gypsy Gelding
Meet the funnest little horse on our place! Boujee is fun to ride, fun to drive, fun to be around and he has a fun personality!
It is hard to know where to start in describing all Boujee has to offer. From ranching to rodeo, pulling the buggy to the feed wagon, Boujee has done it.
This summer Boujee was on the rodeo road carrying the American Flag, packing dignitaries for introductions and being the ride for judges. Bright lights, huge crowds, video boards, loud music, crazy barrel horses... he took it all in stride.
On the ranch he has gathered horses and cattle, roped bulls, sorted steers, drug calves to the fire; all the ranch chores. There is absolutely no better training for a trail horse than working on a ranch. Horses learn to pay attention to their surroundings and confidence to go out by themselves, or in a herd.
He works gates, crosses water, covers rough country and plays to the camera. What, that's not a requirement of YOUR trail horse? You only live once- you might as well ride a pretty horse!
In harness Boujee is just as solid. Single or double he is steady. My dad had his knee replaced last fall and in the interim until he could ride again, Boujee and his cart was his mode of transportation around the neighborhood. Boujee pulled the feed wagon into a big herd of horses last winter. With horses running up to the wagon and biting at the team, Boujee just pushed into the collar and did his job.
No matter where we take him, people drool over Boujee. With his glass eye, fabulous mane and tail and pretty markings, you just can't ignore his looks. He has never offered to buck, rear or pullback. Boujee enjoys a good joke and has a big personality.
Of course he is good to bathe and shoe and he is up to date on his teeth, feet and vaccinations. He hauls like an old pro and gets along with other horses.
We have absolutely loved having Boujee and know you will too. Please call with any questions or to schedule a test ride before the sale.
