Beth Gouthro is an AQHA Professional Horseman based in Staunton, Virginia, where she and her husband, Matt, and their son Cole own and operate BMG Show Horses. Together, they have built a respected program specializing in AQHA and APHA ranch horses, focusing on ranch riding, ranch trail, working western rail, and Versatility Ranch Horse events.
A multiple World Champion and Reserve World Champion, Beth’s success reflects a lifetime dedicated to horses. Raised in Virginia, she grew up riding on the trails, in the show pen, and working cattle through team penning and cutting. After graduation, she expanded her experience working on a ranch in Wyoming, strengthening her foundation in horsemanship and cattle work.
At BMG Show Horses, Beth plays a key role in training and breeding. The program stands stallions and produces quality AQHA horses with an emphasis on well-rounded, purpose-driven individuals. The Gouthro family also raises Australian Cattle Dogs and registered Texas Longhorns, reflecting their commitment to the western lifestyle.
Beyond the barn, Beth is an award-nominated actress, recognized for her leading role in the faith-based equine film Texas Rein. Her experiences shape her training approach, emphasizing a strong foundation, work ethic, and partnership between horse and rider.
