2021 AQHA Gelding
14.3 HH
“Rowdy” is a 14.3 tank of a finished switch ender rope horse, ranch horse, trail horse, turnback horse, family horse deluxe!!! He wears many hats and wears them well!!
This friendly and versatile gelding has been hauled all over the country whether he was being ranched on, roped on, or used as a help horse in the cutting pen, he has seen all the chaos you could throw at him and is a veteran of road miles and new environments!
Rowdy truly loves his job and is eager to please for any level of rider. He has packed youngsters as little as 5 with their pigtails bouncing across the gather to delicate and poised “seasoned” cowgirls with gray curls!
He is kind and gentle for beginners to experienced riders and is extremely forgiving. He by all means has the buttons and education to execute all of the arena maneuvers but is user friendly enough that you don’t feel like you’re trying to operate a spaceship!
He has seen more rough country and terrain than most mountain goats and will pack you anywhere you have a hankering to go!
Easy to be around, quiet and safe on the ground with polite manners to handle, groom, saddle, bathe, clip, shoe. No vices or quirks of any kind and is the same upstanding citizen with time off.
I have truly enjoyed getting to ranch rodeo on Rowdy and he always gives me an honest shot no matter what kind of cattle we are pursuing! Leaves flat, puts you in your spot and stays honest through your dally and will pull whatever you can get a rope on!! Heading, heeling, steer stopping, breakaway, branding, pasture roping/doctoring, you name it he’s your man.
Steady and strong.
