City chaos or ranch commotion Cruz stays cool calm and collected. As steady in town traffic as he is on the trails, he has a ranch heart and a rock solid mind. You can trust him in real world chaos as much as you can on the quiet trails. Alone or in a group he is happy and confident. He will confidently lead the way or happily follow behind. Cruz has been trail ridden in the hills and the desert. He has ponied kiddos along behind on their ponies or toted them on board with me. Trustworthy and solid. Cruz has a lot of heart and try. He has been extensively ranched on, dragging calves to the fire, doctoring calves in the pastures, sorting and pushing cows.

Cruz is strong and quick to a cow, loves his job and is just plain fun to rope on in the pasture or the arena. He is well started on the heel side. He’s quiet in the box, rates cattle good, has plenty of speed and a good stop. Also started in the breakaway, runs to cattle hard and gives you a good shot. He is a pleasure to ride in the arena and side passes easily, has some beautiful spins, nice lope departures and a solid stop. His gaits are easy and smooth with great transitions and an easy one handed neck rein. All his experiences have made him a well rounded individual and his disposition makes him a nice user friendly partner willing to match your level.

Great crossing bridges, streams, rocks and sure footed and confident on any terrain. He is good with obstacles, dragging logs, crazy dogs, loud noises, has a carried a flag and easy to open gates on. He loves being groomed, bathed, is great for the farrier, trailers like a champ and is the kindest old soul.
