2021 AQHA Gelding
15.2 HH
Alamo is the tried and true soldier of a gentlemanly gorgeous gray gelding!
The poster child of what a good, honest horse should be. Reliable; for any level rider under any conditions or circumstance. Trustworthy; knowing every time you swing a leg over you are getting the same guy. Safe; if it’s you, your daughter, your granddaughter, or your grandmother(and yes he is grandma approved with gold stars)
And not to mention handsome! The exception to the rule you shouldn’t buy for looks but pretty is as pretty does! And Alamo makes everything look pretty whether you’re loping soft circles in the arena or trotting across the mountainside!
With a correct and delicate handle in the arena, Alamo shines in western ranch riding as well as dressage or even western dressage.
He is a stunning mover and carries himself with poise and proffessionalism that will win you ribbons or simply to win your heart. A floating gentle jog, powerful extended trot, rocking chair lope, and a confident halt. He rides one handed in the bridle or you can throw a snaffle on him under English tack and have a soft, supple ride.
This fancy fella isn’t scared to go outside and get dirty too! I have used him extensively on the ranch gathering cattle, trotting fences, roping the occasional stray or doctoring one, and although he’s by no means a racecar he is on your team and always happy to help you in any way he can! Doesn’t mind a days work and absolutely loves the great outdoors. Crosses water, fallen timber, mud, uneven terrain and the wide open with the same level head that he’s loved so much for!
An absolute doll to be around and makes owning a horse enjoyable and encouraging to get to the barn every day to be greeted by this handsome guy! Happy to see you and LOVES some scratches and a bubble bath. Will tip toe around with the smaller cowgirls and never takes advantage of less confident riders.
A must see to appreciate!
