Bootlegger is a very nice minded and solid broke gelding. He is a Gypsy Vanner/QH cross gelding and stands a perfect 15.1 hands tall and is 6 years old.

Bootlegger is such a cool horse to ride and be around. He carries him self with loads of self-confidence and travels out on a loose rein and nothing seems to phase him.

He spent the entire summer in cowcamp on top of the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming and has been used for trailing cattle, roping and doctoring cattle and also lead the pack string with salt and minerals. He is ready to go help you do what ever job you need done and is always there for you when you ask him. He has been thru all sorts of terrain and is an overall joy to ride out on the trail, in the mountains, on the ranch or wherever you would like to go. He is happy riding out alone or in a group, it doesn't matter to him.

Bootlegger also does well in the arena and will lope nice circles on the correct lead, back, sidepass, do turn arounds, stop and be soft in the mouth and ribs. He has just the perfect combination of softness, feel and athletic ability to be super fun for an experienced rider to be on, but then yet quiet, patient and sweet enough to take care of a more inexperienced rider as well.

He just is a wonderful, smart and willing horse that tries to please you and wants to do everything right. Everybody that has rode this horse has just fallen in love with him and he is the horse we put friends on when they come to visit and want to go for a ride.

He has also been exposed to all the desensitizing things like bouncy balls, tarps, dragging things, going thru noodles and other obstacles, cracking the bull whip, you name it and he is good with it all.

Bootlegger was also broke to drive before we got him.

He will come pick you up from the fence or bucket and has been taught to lay down for mounting and dismounting also.

I believe that about anybody should be able to get along with this great horse. He has absolutely no vices or bad habits and has been really easy and nice to have around and ride. On top of all of the above I also want to mention just how pretty this horse is both on the inside and on the outside. He has what Jeff and I believe to be the prettiest head and neck we have ever seen on a draft cross horse, a big kind and soft eye, just the right amount of feathering and those pretty high white stockings.

Somebody is going to be very lucky to take him home. Don't miss out on this great horse in the prime of his life, perfect size and good looks to go with it.
