2020 APHA Gelding

15.2 HH

Boots is a standout young gelding that has been in our program over a year and handled everything like a seasoned pro. He is fancy to look at with his smooth conformation, matching socks, kind eye, and a splash of white in his tail to top it off.

Boots is people oriented, friendly to everyone and comes across the pasture to be caught or just follow you around as a buddy. Boots has extensive experience both inside the arena as well as outside so you can be confident no matter where you choose to enjoy him. He has been ridden and enjoyed by all ages and experience levels and will step up or down accommodate your experience and confidence. Boots will travel on a loose rein and maintain the speed you ask him to go.

He has a smooth sliding stop, nice turnaround, and a soft mouth. Boots rides outside alone or in a group, crosses anything you point him at and doesn’t get worked up if you happen to get him in a jam. He will use his head to safely and quietly work his way out of the problem.

Boots has impeccable manners both in the saddle and on the ground, he is friendly and quiet but still respectful of your space. Boots will work for the inexperienced rider as well as a seasoned horseman and be fun for all.

He is also a finished rope horse both heading and heeling so if team roping, ranch rodeos, team penning, sorting, or working on the ranch is on your "to do" list, he has you covered.

Boots is one that can be enjoyed by the whole family in various disciplines. Please contact me to set up a time to come meet him before the sale.

I grew up with a love of horses that runs in the family and have never been far from the saddle. When I was young, barrel racing was my passion. As I grew older, I got into team roping, reining, and spending hours and miles riding the big outside country. Throughout my journey training horses, I have learned the value of putting a solid foundation on one and building up from there. Every horse that goes through my program will be an all-around horse that has real life experience as well as countless hours in the arena. My goal is to produce a horse that can be safely enjoyed by all ages and levels of riders in most any discipline they choose.
