Own son of Million Dollar Sire Travelin Jonez, this four-year-old gelding, affectionately known as Chapo, combines elite cow horse breeding with the kind of disposition and usability everyone is looking for.
We have owned him since he was a two-year-old, started him ourselves, and done everything with him. He has gathered big, rough Wyoming country, shipped and sorted cattle, tagged calves, and been ridden extensively both outside and in the arena. He has been roped on regularly roping the sled, donkey, and started roping live cattle out of the box. Chapo is honest, quiet, and willing every single day, no matter the situation or environment.
This gelding is exceptionally gentle, absolutely no funny business. He rides the same every ride, can be ridden bareback, is soft and responsive to your legs and hands, has correct lead departures, and a big, natural stop. He turns around nicely, stays broke, and maintains a calm, confident demeanor no matter the job.
Chapo is the kind who is already capable of a job and is easy to get along with. He is comfortable outside, handles real work, and has the mind and training to go on as a rope horse, ranch horse, trail horse, ranch riding or versatility horse, or a dependable family horse. He is not reactive, not spooky, and takes care of his rider.

Alongside her husband and new daughter, they operate a hands-on program where every horse is trained, and used by them.
