2021 AQHA Gelding
15.2 HH
This kind and gentle guy is the poster child for the word versatile! Whether you want an all around family horse or to go show in the ranch riding, team rope on him, jump him or take him to the dressage ring he is skilled and polished in it all!
No stranger to work, we have used Samson extensively on the ranch gathering and sorting cattle, checking fences, and various outside chores. He is our go-to for timid, unsure, or green riders and he truly enjoys taking care of his passengers and calibrates to the ability of each person aboard. This guy prefers a slow, steady gait and easing around but will pick up and move out when asked.
Easily the most enjoyable horse in the barn to ride with his gentle trot and soft lope as well as his effortless handle. Smooth lead departures, a pretty turns, collects and extends beautifully, and of course a great stop! Moves off leg, super soft in the bridle, and as user-friendly as they make them. Has schooled stadium and cross country and progressing steadily in the dressage ring. Has roped both ends outside and is finished in the arena with hauling miles to boot!
Fancy in any saddle, in any arena!
Meets you at the gate each day and loves nothing more than scratches and a good bubble bath. Gets along in any herd dynamic and also enjoys being stalled. Stays gentle with time off and is the same horse every ride.
If you’re looking for a steady, kind horse that will fit the whole family, this is your boy!
