2016 AQHA Mare

14.1 HH

Pearl is by the great NRHA Hall of Fame stallion GUNNATRASHYA.

She is a Rockstar both in and out of the arena with a ton of experience and a resume to back her up. She excels in ranch riding, ranch trail, ranch on the rail, and reining, she will watch a cow for cutting, boxing and box-drive. Pearl is the 2025 NVRHA Intermediate National Champion and has several regional and local championships.

Pearl has control and is very responsive: whether you are a novice rider who just wants to go slow and learn the basics or you’re ready to take that next step, she wants to do what you want to do. Stops, spins, lead changes, trail maneuvers, transitions, side passes; whatever you need, this horse has it.
Pearl is a one-of-a-kind horse with all the fancy buttons, yet forgiving and totally okay cruising around the arena for kids or cruising down the trails. She’s great on trails and obstacle courses, and has been used to move cows. Pearl will meet you at the gate and loves to nicker to you.

Hi, my name is Edie Holmes. I grew up in Northern Michigan, but moved to Wyoming 25 years ago. I developed my love for horses when I was gifted a Shetland pony at the age of 4. With the help of my Mom, we raised POA (Pony of America) horses during my childhood, then shifted to showing AQHA Western Pleasure and English during my high school and college years. After a short break from the horse world to complete my education and start a career that relocated me to Wyoming, I got back into horses and have been competing in cutting and ranch versatility. I love spending time with my horse to elevate their training toward higher levels of competition and reliability.
