2016 Sorrel AQHA Gelding

14.3 HH

Master has been in the family for the past six years. He belonged to my father-in-law before we got the privilege to own him. He is an own son of the great High Brow Cat and he carries the CV Colt Ventures brand. He is as close to home grown as one gets and has been in capable hands his whole life. This horse is one of the most broke and user friendly horses I have ever stepped on. He is a complete gentleman when our daughter Hayz, who is 6, rides him. Hayz is a timid rider and Master has really grown her confidence. He's also been used for riding lessons for very novice riders that only ride a few times a year. Master has had cutting, reining, and roping training. He has been hauled to multiple events for team roping on both ends (heading and heeling). He is the epitome of a Cowgirl Cadillac horse. He has all the talent of a Ferrari but the safety and comfort of a Cadillac. He is easy on the eyes as well. This horse is the perfect height, making mounting easy but having enough size to go about any direction. He has seen the sights at the rodeos and has been used around the ranch as well. He is a dream to ride on the open range and down the trails. Compete on him or just enjoy a nice ride. He is completely one handed broke with great ground manners to boot. Master is simply a delight. He is built to last and would make a great addition for any level of rider.

Austee VonAhn wears more hats than just a cowgirl hat. She is a speech-language pathologist for individuals with special needs, specializing in giving a voice to those with communication disorders. She is a wife to Ryan VonAhn, renowned team roper and horse trainer and a mother to two little cowgirls, Hayz and Henlee. Much of Austee and her family’s life revolves around horses. Austee competes in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association in barrel racing and breakaway roping. Horses have been a passion for her since she was very young and when she got married it became a lifestyle. Austee and her husband train horses and attend various horse sales throughout the year. She is also raising her young daughters with a love for horses, so having good, safe horses around is a must. Horses in the VonAhn program will get exposed to kids, dogs, rodeo with all its lights/action, and life on the ranch with cattle and a long day's work. Austee is a firm believer in giving horses a great experience and building on their confidence each day. Creating softness, respect, and exposure to multiple disciplines and scenery add up to a good, solid horse. Austee and Ryan both pride themselves on customer satisfaction with horses that come out of their program.
