2020 Blue Roan Draft-Cross Mare
14.3 HH
Whether it's navigating the rugged Arizona washes or conquering the steep Utah mountains, Storm handles it all with confidence and grace. She’s not just a pretty face; this girl has put in the miles and has the skills to show for it. She is extremely quiet, and BROKE.
With a light reining foundation, Storm is more than just a trail horse. She-

She open gates, carries a flag, and drags objects – she’s up for anything you throw her way.
Storm has seen it all –
Heavy traffic/Cities
Large crowds of people and horses
Cattle/Dogs
Bridges
Deadfall
Water crossings
Tarps, Flags, Stock Whips, Guns, and more.
She’ll cross any obstacle or body of water you point her at, and she’s comfortable whether she’s leading the pack or bringing up the rear. She was recently taken on a pack trip where she ponied, was hobbled and high lined.
She recently participated in the Pony Express Re-ride where she rode into the dark and on Murray Mainstreet.
Storm’s ground manners are second to none. She is respectful of your personal space and mindful of your cues. She has a long list of groundwork exercises she knows.
She lowers her head to halter and bridle.
Catches you at the gate. Stands to saddle and mount. She even steps over to pick you up off the fence.
She’s great in a group, always getting along with other horses.
Storm is steady under saddle – you can trust her to be the same reliable horse every time you ride.
She’s been ridden bareback and double, proving her versatility and willingness to please.
Storm’s got that classic draft-cross build – thick, strong, and sturdy, with large, correct feet that have never taken a lame step.
I have shown her in a few Ranch Versatility Classes and has placed. She will need more show exposure if you want to take her in that direction.
Storm is easy to haul, easy to handle, stands tied all day, near perfect for the farrier, baths and clips.
Whether you’re looking for a solid trail companion or a versatile arena competitor, Storm is the mare who can do it all – and look good doing it

My horsemanship journey led me to Clinton Anderson’s program in 2016. In 2019, I graduated from his Academy in Stephenville, TX, and with this certification, I’ve had the opportunity to host numerous clinics and work with a wide variety of client horses. I continue furthering my education at his ranch each year to deepen my skills and stay current with the latest horsemanship techniques.
Since then, I’ve gained extensive experience working with horses of diverse breeds, ages, and temperaments, significantly advancing my horsemanship skills. Recently, I’ve started exploring Ranch Versatility, focusing on training my own horses to excel in this discipline.
