This mare is as soft and kind as you could ever ask one to be, with all the ride and the extra wow factor you can pack into one. She has been used all over the Texas panhandle to ranch and ride pens at the feed yard. She’s safe and solid for early morning shipping or gathering big drags on those cold, black mornings. She’s truly the best of both worlds. This mare is super simple to show in the Versatility Ranch Horse classes and the reining. She’s good enough for a novice or youth rider as well.

Shakira is as sure-footed as they come. She has been to the Canadian River and the Palo Duro Canyon countless times. She crosses water, logs, bridges and navigates rocky and rough terrain with no trouble.

This sweet girl will do anything you ask and is suitable for the young riders just as much as an adult. She has carried our seven-year-old daughter all over the place in an English saddle and carries herself beautifully. She’ll turn heads in every arena and disciple with how much flash she brings and her happy demeanor.

Shakira not only comes with a full resume, but she brings one of the best personalities with her as well. She is always happy to see you and always happy to go to work. She is one of the barn favorites for how easy she is to be around.

SKC Livestock is a company made up of Cheyenne, Levi and their three kids, Saylor, Kyler and Townes. Levi and Cheyenne dabble in everything from horse shows to ranching and feed yard work and their horses and kids come along for it every step of the way. Their passionate about their horses finding the right homes and being enjoyed for many years after they are purchased!

When Levi and Cheyenne created SKC Livestock they were aiming to put together an exceptional set of horses that would be well versed in several different disciplines. They wanted to create not only the perfect all around horse but an all around horse that was easy to ride and would fit a wide range of riders. With Levi's ranching background and Cheyenne's background in the performance horses they feel that they give these horses a well rounded career. Since the beginning SKC Livestock has continued to grow and build wonderful client relationships while selling horses all across the United States to all kinds of different equine families.
