2020 Gypsy Gelding

Cupid just like his name would suggest he will steal your heart. I’ve been blessed to own and ride some incredible Gypsy’s and Cupid is definitely at the top of the list. He is amazing! Calm, cool customer in any situation who absolutely adores the attention you give him. His heart will melt yours with his kind disposition.
Cupid is broke the very best whether you’re in the arena out on the ranch or riding down Main Street he’s done it and will please. Cupid handles around like a broke horse should he’s soft in his face and sides without being overreactive or jumpy. He’s EASY and uncomplicated with a good neck rein, stops on a dime, and will turn around nicely. Will side pass both ways and pick up his leads from a standstill. His lope is smooth to ride all day. He will collect and has been under English tack as well.
Cupid is trained to lay down with a tap on the shoulder he’s very simple to cue and our kids love to lay him down for mounting and dismounting. He is 1000% safe and honest. From little kids to great grandpa everyone can ride him no matter what the task is. This is the kindest horse you will ever meet. Cupid will make you smile every day you own him and is definitely a family favorite of ours.

Jerry and I (Megan) have both been raised riding horses and ranching. We try to have first and foremost a broke horse that can do many jobs. We love to have a versatile horse. Since everyone in our family likes to ride, our horses get exposed to many different things. Jerry and I both love to rope, brand, and doctor cattle! If it involves a rope, you can bet Jerry will be there! Jerry is a very accomplished rope horse trainer. He takes them slow and correct. Megan likes to ride barrel horses and rope horses. Coyle likes to ride anything that we will let him get on ("except buckers" as he says, and we ALL agree on that one), and Teale claims all the horses. Just ask her.
Our horses have been ridden outside in the Snake River and Wallowa Mountains, as well as in the arena, down the trail, at rodeos, ropings, parades and local shows. Our philosophy on a horse is that it should be well rounded and easy to operate. Jerry, Megan, Coyle and Teale all have a part in the making of each of our horses. Jerry and I feel extremely lucky to raise our children doing what we love.
