She’s handled cattle and has plenty of natural “cow sense” when asked. Confident and levelheaded, Lottie stays calm around tarps, flags, bikes, balls, and every new thing she comes across. Kids love having play days with her, whether that's in parades or the backyard. At 5 years old, she is ready to head down any path you choose. I'm a third-generation horsewoman from Durango, CO whose life has revolved around horses from day one. I started riding ponies as a toddler, took lessons throughout my childhood, and have been riding and training ever since, learning and growing with the help of others along the way. My training philosophy has remained consistent: to produce safe, versatile family horses with a fancy handle—horses that everyone can enjoy. I compete in shows and rodeos around Colorado and New Mexico. While I love breakaway roping, my sale horses are not specialized rodeo horses; instead, they are trained for their natural strengths. I believe in thorough groundwork and a slow, mindful start under saddle. A horse with a sound mind and safe demeanor is far more valuable to me than rushing through training or skipping essential steps. Versatility is key—I expect my horses to confidently jump in a show one day, and move cattle in the mountains the next, all while maintaining consistency in every ride.
