I'm a third-generation horsewoman from Durango, CO whose life has revolved around horses from day one. I started riding ponies as a toddler, took lessons throughout my childhood, and have been riding and training ever since, learning and growing with the help of others along the way. My training philosophy has remained consistent: to produce safe, versatile family horses with a fancy handle—horses that everyone can enjoy. I compete in shows and rodeos around Colorado and New Mexico. While I love breakaway roping, my sale horses are not specialized rodeo horses; instead, they are trained for their natural strengths. I believe in thorough groundwork and a slow, mindful start under saddle. A horse with a sound mind and safe demeanor is far more valuable to me than rushing through training or skipping essential steps. Versatility is key—I expect my horses to confidently jump in a show one day, and move cattle in the mountains the next, all while maintaining consistency in every ride.
