2020 AQHA Gelding

15.2 HH

As busy as life can be, it can be hard to get to the barn, stable, or ranch to do what we love most. But no worries, “Paly” is here for you to ride those worries away! Mr. Perfect can saddle up anytime - anywhere and ride off with time off, and there is no silliness. His handle fits him well, "Pal-y," a genuinely kind soul, is loaded with personality and quite a character!
As a great example of the TPH family plan, Paly will quickly become part of the family and is available when you need him to pick up the slack. School projects: “No Problem.” He is experienced at show and tell, carried flags in parades and sunset trail rides, and is a winner in the reining and ranch horse classes! This gorgeous golden boy is so adaptable and willing. We have had so many levels of riders who ride and compete in an array of disciplines, and they have fallen in love with Paly. Those riders, and the TPH team certainly agree, and have repeatedly quoted as saying, "he is the best and smoothest mover", "collects beautifully at the lope and easy to sit his jog." Paly truly is one of the best-feeling horses when you're on his back; he is a sought-after great mover! Rides in a shank bridle or a snaffle bit, western, english and bareback. Has a soft neck rein, or indirect reins if you prefer, lopes off from the walk, has a cadence turn around, and has a trot that you can sit all day.
From small-town city streets to the Montana mountain trails, from cattle drives to the bright arena lights, he has been hauled extensively across the country. Paly has a fantastic presence in the show ring; he would fit a rookie reiner or someone looking for a world-class ranch rider.
Used as a ranch horse to gather, doctor, and for general day work. An enjoyable and forgiving trail horse, he is the best way to start or end your day, out alone or with a group; he is like a breath of fresh air. He gets along with other horses in the pasture and trailer. His ground manners are better than perfect; he will stand like a soldier while tied, even amongst the chaos of shows and ranch life. He is genuinely a SPECIAL, perfect all-around gelding that the entire family will be able to enjoy for years to come. Bring the family and schedule a time to ride him yourself at our ranch near Wickenburg, Arizona. I do love to talk horses.

Paje-and-crush

Paje Turner of Turner Performance Horses has spent a lifetime developing an equine match-making empire that spans nearly every discipline. Dating back to 4 years old, it all started with English, Jumping, Saddlebreds, and Arabians. Proving her passion for horses, her family bought her a 1st horse at 8 —an AQHA Palomino Gelding to show in all-around western events. Moving several hours away from home in college, working two jobs to take her first horse with her to college. Paje successfully competed on the Intercollegiate Equestrian Team and the College Rodeo Team; there was no doubt Paje ate, slept, and drank horses!

After graduating with a degree in architecture, Paje headed west! It was then that she met her match, her future husband Chad Turner. Already an exceptional horseman, Chad, in a short time, shared his knowledge and encouraged her to compete at higher levels. It was at that time that Turner Performance Horses became a household name among those seeking a well-versed horse for a variety of disciplines. Paje Turner has since won notable awards and is active in the AQHA, APHA, Northern Rodeo, The Run for a Million, World Series of Team Roping Finale, National Snaffle Bit, National Cutting Horse, National Reining Horse, Versatility Ranch Horse, and many more. From the back country of Montana to the sandy trails of Arizona, and ranches in between, Paje understands the importance of a horses experience outside the arena as well.

Paje has sold horses to the most discerning and noteworthy clientele; she truly has a passion for sharing her knowledge and match-making horses with others.
