2020 AQHA Gelding
14.2 HH
Ditto is a stunning, gorgeous roan gelding with the biggest kind eye and a gentle soul. He’s built just right; that perfect height of 14.2 HH, balanced and big hipped, with all the striking good looks.
A true bay roan that is absolutely stunning and has a very versatile skill set. From excelling in multiple arena disciplines, ranch occupations, and a trusted mount out on the trails, Ditto will quickly be your number one go-to, and most cherished partner. Plus, his gentle temperament and fun personality add even more to his charm. This roan boy captures everyone’s attention and shines brightly in a crowd.
He would be fun in the ranch classes and versatility events. Ditto has all the buttons and feels in the arena with nice spins, balanced circles, beautiful lope departures, an easy sidepass, deep stops and a simple one handed neck rein. He is an elegant mover with graceful transitions and cruises around with forward ears and a happy attitude. Ditto is accustomed to lots of different terrain and surroundings. He’s covered big, green pastures of rolling ranch countryside to rocky, mountainous trails, or the sandy cactus covered desert. He willingly goes right where you point him without hesitation. Always reliable he will carry you through thick brush, steep hills, wide rivers and anything in between. He has a good walk outside and a great, ground covering trot.
Ditto is excellent out on the trails and cruising through town. He is safe through heavy traffic, tourists spots, waving flags and banners, bicycles, motorcycles, strollers, etc. He is brave alone and good with a group. He will confidently lead the way or happily follow behind. He is familiar with wildlife, crazy dogs, cattle, kids and ranch work. He knows all the arena trail obstacles including poles, drags, bridges, and gates. He is good with gunfire, blowing tarps, and heavy machinery.
Ditto is comfortable to ride and easy to sit. He is fun to ride bareback as well as bridleless or take him for a spin in just his halter. He also knows some fun tricks and is a quick learner. Ditto has been roped on in the arena and out in the pasture. He knows the ropes of ranch life and is more reliable and handier than a leatherman tool. Ditto is a people pleaser and wants to be good. He is a kind soul and bonds with his person. He has been ridden by children and handled that well as well as toted our kiddos down the trail and around the ranch with us. He is good to bathe, great for the farrier, and hauls like a champ. Ditto is loved and has been well taken care of. He is a special gem that deserves the best!

Sarah Moreland of S Lazy M Ranch in western SD has always had a passion for training horses. She started training horses for the public at 15 yrs old and her husband Seth and children Sterling and Cedar still train horses and ranch in Red Owl, SD.
"I grew up on horseback since I was a little girl and still live, love and breathe horses every day. We love starting colts, making good solid performance horses and our ranch is a great place to get that solid foundation that every horse needs. Spring ranch work with all the branding is a highlight along with all the summer and fall cattle work. I love all that the ranch provides for these horses but training time in the arena and taking them to town is important too. I enjoy showing cow horse and AQHA Ranch Versatility as well as training and running barrel horses. I love breakaway roping as well.
My passion is to train and provide well rounded, gentle, solid, quality performance horses that anyone can go on with and enjoy. We all have a part in making these horses, including our young children who provide lots of desensitizing at this point, and I'm blessed to get to call this my job and to raise our children in this lifestyle, doing what we love."
