With this 6 year old, 15.3h, 1400lb gelding wearing his golden dappled palomino coat, one might think that beauty is only skin deep but the best part of Casanova lies beneith the surface! Casanova is a total love bug and a horse that the whole family will enjoy! He has had natural horsemanship training and done liberty work. He will lay down on command, bow and set on his rump. He is 100% obedient to his person and loves working with them. Although he looks like some foo-foo play-pretty doll horse, Casanova is not a bit shy about to getting down and dirty and working for his living! He has been used at the feedlot, roping and doctoring sick cattle. He will hold anything that you tie to the horn and never gets worked up when things don’t go as planned. Casanova has been used at rodeos to shag bulls out of the arena, the announcers, lights, the roar of the crowd doesn’t phase him at all! We have used him to pen cattle at the stockyards, he has been used at an exotic sale to pen exotic wildlife including all sorts of deer, types of cattle, zebra and buffalo as well. Casanova has been ridden and driven (yes he is harness broke) down the highways, we have had him in town and he is very traffic safe. He is perfectly content to just mosey along down the trails where he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. Casanova has a smooth jog, a VERY VERY nice easy to set lope, a good stop, spins a circle both ways and backs with ease! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains and has encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. Casanova has been ridden by all ages from 6 years old on up and is suitable for any level of rider!
