Meet Avenger - This gentle guy has got it all: size, athleticism, and a personality that will melt your heart. If you’re looking for a partner who’s as reliable as they come, Avenger is your guy.
Avenger’s laid-back attitude makes him perfect for riders who prefer to take things slow. His lope is smooth and steady, perfect for building the confidence of any beginner rider. Whether you’re tackling a steep incline, crossing obstacles, or just enjoying a leisurely trail ride, Avenger takes his time. With countless trail miles under his belt, Avenger is as sure-footed as they come. He’s just as comfortable leading the pack as he is riding in the middle or at the back. Alone or in a group, this guy is confident and calm, making him a joy to ride in any situation.
He’s been exposed to - Heavy Traffic/Cities, Large Crowds of People and Horses, Bridges, Deadfall, Water Crossings, Cattle/Dogs, Tarps, Stock Whips, Flags, Guns, and more!
Avenger comes with a light reining foundation and is well-versed in all the essentials. He - Neck reins, Stops Off Your Seat, Spins, Collects, Knows His Leads/Simple Lead Changes, Side Passes, Shoulder/Hip Control, He also opens and closes gates, carries a flag, drags objects and has had a gun shot off him! He has shown and placed in a couple Ranch Versatility Shows last year and shows a lot of potential.
He took care of a rider who had lost their confidence through the Pony Express Reenactment Ride, loping miles on asphalt in the dark! He finished the ride loping down Murray main street to pass the mail bag onto the next group.
I recently took him to a mounted shooting practice. This was his first time being around gun fire. I was shooting off him at a lope by the end of the night.
He was taken on an overnight pack trip where he ponied, was hobbled and high lined.
With exceptional ground manners and a puppy dog personality, Avenger is a real people pleaser. He stands quiet to mount, will step over to help you hop on from the fence, and lowers his head for haltering and bridling. He’s the type of horse who genuinely wants to make you happy and will always give his best effort. Avenger is easy to handle and a pleasure to be around. He’s been hauled all over, stands tied all day without a fuss and is a gentleman for the farrier.
If you’re looking for a steady, dependable partner who’s as sweet as they come, Avenger is the perfect match. Don’t miss the chance to make him a part of your family!

My horsemanship journey led me to Clinton Anderson’s program in 2016. In 2019, I graduated from his Academy in Stephenville, TX, and with this certification, I’ve had the opportunity to host numerous clinics and work with a wide variety of client horses. I continue furthering my education at his ranch each year to deepen my skills and stay current with the latest horsemanship techniques.
Since then, I’ve gained extensive experience working with horses of diverse breeds, ages, and temperaments, significantly advancing my horsemanship skills. Recently, I’ve started exploring Ranch Versatility, focusing on training my own horses to excel in this discipline.
