Badger stands at 15.2 hands and has all the looks and temperament you could ask for and is perfect for the whole family. Badger’s gentle demeanor and sweet disposition make him incredibly personable and he enjoys all the attention he can get. Badger has had tons of exposure to many things, comfortable around machinery and traffic, great around young kids, ponies colts, and pushes cattle. He confidently navigates any obstacle you throw at him including water, bridges, gates, teeter totters, flags, tarps, and more. He rides comfortably in both English and Western disciplines as well as bareback and bridleless. Badger even does some liberty work and knows how to lay down on command. Under saddle Badger has many buttons; spins, sidepasses, leg yields, half-pass, hauches-in and shoulder-in. He has a great stop and rides great one or two handed. He is uncomplicated to ride and works great off seat and leg, will collect up or move out with ease. Badger has been used for lots of trail miles and camping, and loves to explore outside! He has also been started on roping and could easily be finished. He is brave, steady, and easy-going, handling new environments and challenges with confidence.
He is very smart and loves to please, making him an easy horse to train. Always eager and happy to work. He shows a lot of promise in a variety of disciplines and could go on to be successful in the show pen however you decide. Never been lame and requires zero maintenance. Easy keeper, has great feet, and is a true gentleman.
