Shaky is fun and safe to ride inside and out of the arena. He has experience sorting cattle in competition and on the ranch. He can push steers up the chute all day in the roping pen and chase a few as well. Shaky has been trained in barrel racing and is Future Fortunes enrolled.
He is a complete joy to ride and appropriate for the entire family. He has the ability to be competitive when asked and dial it down for children or beginner riders. He is the horse you put your guests on for a fun ride in the hills. Shaky has spent a great deal of time in the mountains on trail rides and going through water. He is happy to ride off in a group or alone. Shaky has been hauled extensively, seen the sights, and is cool as a cucumber everywhere he goes.
Shaky is very floaty mover which has allowed him to be highly competitive in the english world. In 2023 Shaky had great success competing at the beginner novice level in Eventing and is currently schooling Novice level with potential to move up. In July 2023, Shaky placed 3rd against some tough competition at the famous Event at Rebecca Farm. Shaky has proven to be a safe, fun, easy, and brave cross country jumper. Shaky has also had tremendous success in the Dressage ring and placed highly at many USDF shows scoring in the mid to upper 60’s at Training and First Level. Shaky is currently continuing to school first level movements with plenty of potential to move up. At only 7 years old, the potential is endless.
Shaky is currently showcasing his sporty English look with a neat and tidy mane. But it should be noted that he can grow some of the best mane around. As a western horse he can easily grow his very thick mane down past the bottom of his neck. His tail is also incredibly thick and flowing. If a long mane is what you love... it won't take Shaky long to have it back and flowing
